Two people who take your pets and home as seriously as you do.
Who we are
Long, long ago, in a house not that far away, a friend of ours was heading out of town and needed someone to watch her pets. Before we knew it, we had her key and had become her people. She told her neighbors. They told theirs. One by one, we grew.
As more people brought us into their homes, we started doing more. While watching pets, we started fixing things, coordinating remodels, overseeing deliveries, and generally being the trusted presence people needed while they were away. What started as a favor turned into Paws & Property.
We're bonded and insured. As Chris loves to say, "We know we don't sell dog walks and plant watering. What we sell is trust."
How we work
These aren't bullet points we wrote for this goofy little website. They're how we actually operate with every visit, every client, every time.
That's the real standard we hold ourselves to, not a tagline. You'll come home to a property that's been genuinely cared for.
Photos and updates every visit. We don't go quiet while you're away. Consistent communication is part of the job.
Same schedule, same spots, same people they've already met. In-home care means they don't have to adjust to somewhere new.
Alarm codes, entry instructions, lockboxes โ we treat all of it with the seriousness it deserves. We don't take this lightly.
We've handled anxious animals, multiple medications, and complicated routines. Chris personally administers insulin and subcutaneous fluids.
For everyone's safety and comfort, in-home meet and greets are always with both Chris and Paige. That's a standard we won't change.
Why in-home care
Boarding isn't bad. But for a lot of pets โ especially dogs used to a yard, cats who hide under beds in new places, or animals on medication schedules โ being dropped into an unfamiliar environment is genuinely stressful. They stop eating normally. Their sleep changes. You can see it when you pick them up.
In-home care fixes that. Your pet stays in the space they know, with people they've already met, on the schedule they're used to. For older animals or pets with health needs, the difference is real.
And for your home โ a property with someone in it looks different from an empty one. Mail gets picked up. Lights are on. The little things get handled so nothing piles up while you're away.
That's the idea behind everything we do.
Before we start, we come to you โ both of us. We meet your pets, walk your property, go over your instructions, and make sure everything is set. It's our favorite part of every new booking.
